Fourteen years of honest scales in Sunshine
Sunshine Scrap Metals & Copper started as a single ute and a set of hand scales. It's grown into a full yard with a certified weighbridge — the handshake at the end of every load hasn't changed.
Started on Market Rd, still on Market Rd
In 2012, founder Marko Petrovski began collecting scrap copper and steel from local mechanics and builders in a borrowed trailer. Word got around the trades that the scales at his yard were never light — and the business grew from there.
Today Sunshine Scrap Metals & Copper runs a fleet of collection trucks, a certified weighbridge, and a small team who still know most regular customers by name. We're still a family business, and we still pay the way we always have: on the spot, in front of you.

Every tonne we process is a tonne that doesn't go to landfill or get freshly mined — recycled metal uses a fraction of the energy.
