Yard gallery
Inside the Market Rd yard
A look at how your load moves through the yard, from the drop-off bay to the outbound truck.
Six stops through the yard
What happens to your load once it's through the gate.
Sorting bays
Copper, brass and stainless are kept in separate bays from the moment they arrive, so grading stays accurate.
The weighbridge
Every incoming and outgoing load crosses our calibrated weighbridge, printed and signed off in front of the customer.
Loading out
Sorted material is loaded onto outbound trucks daily and sent to processing partners across Victoria.
Copper grading
Bare bright, berry and pipe copper are graded by hand under good light before they ever hit the scales.
Brass & fittings
Taps, valves and fittings are sorted by type so every piece is paid at the right rate.
Heavy lifts
Bulk steel and site clearances are handled with machinery on marked paths, kept clear of the public bay.
Safety first, on both sides of the scale
Hi-vis and steel-caps are compulsory anywhere near the bays, and every visitor signs in at the office before walking the yard. Forklifts and the crane run on marked paths only, kept clear of the public drop-off bay.
- Marked pedestrian paths throughout the yard
- Hi-vis and closed footwear required past reception
- Dedicated public bay separate from truck traffic
